Yassss! I got hitched!

Finding a dress for my wedding was a daunting task. There were a few things that I knew I wanted out of my wedding dress:
  • Blush! I've always wanted a blush wedding dress
  • V-neck. I knew I would look good with a v-neck dress
  • Bare back. Goes well with v-neck cut
  • A-Line skirt!
  • One that has just the right length for me to walk around without the help of my maid of honor. Probably the most important factor!

Because I knew what I wanted, I couldn't find the right dress. I was at Bangkok few months before our wedding and found a dress that almost fit into the list. I was willing to compromise and just get it but unfortunately it was way over my budget.

In the end, I opted to tailor made my wedding dress. So I gave a reference of my ideal design to the tailor. and it was worth it!

As for my bridesmaids, I got them (with the help of my friend, Jenny) convertible dresses in the shades of beige & purple. It was a safe pick as they got to play around and choose their styles according to their body type and preference. I made sure each of them has a hair crown and be fabulous.

I know the title says "dresses" but let's talk about the bouquets. I specifically requested for mine and my bridesmaids' bouquets to have a lot of greens. And that is probably one of the best decision ever. Not only does it look good, but it compliments our dresses. Thanks Vanessa!
I hope this post gave you some insights and was helpful to you for your wedding ideas.

Love,
Elycia.
